Dazed and Confused, one of my favorites of all time.
Packing for the weekend trip, movie watching and drinking… because I am miles away from being back at work…
Yes, these are mom running shoes, the last pair in my size on the internets.
My current pair is dying and they are the only shoes that have ever made me enjoy running. So, I scoured Amazon.com and bought them in the last size/color combo available. A sexy-housewife white, pink and blue.
Win for my running goals, loss for my giggly legs.
Take that mother-effer.
To summer nights.
Hazy, heavy, dark nights full of cold drinks, late night conversations and cooling skin.
I remember long talks on porches, dancing in darkness, corner kisses and candlelight. Turning normal weeknights, into experiences in my own senses.
Summer nights and the possibility of what lies in them are one of my favorite things, and I look forward to them again this year with some very eye opening trips planned.
Bombay Bicycle Club - How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep
I have been using this question as a guide a lot lately.
Why NOT?
What is holding me back? Is it worth it?
If what is holding me back from something is money, or fear or resistance to break from routine… I do it.
I spent too much time in my mid-twenties living to work, and I don’t want to leave my youth having missed out on the best parts of being young. I don’t regret those years, they worked to teach me a great deal about myself, but I do think that I spent a great deal of time dwelling on what didn’t really matter and not listening to my truest self.
So, I am not missing out now, better late than never.
A photo entitled… “I have no shame”.
Also entitled…
“This is what happens when a very pale girl goes to Florida, burns in places she didn’t know could burn, attempts to cover every exposed inch on the beach with whatever is in her suitcase to not burn again, then, awkwardly poses for a friends photo which he makes it into a card and she receives it nearly 2 weeks later to relative horror but also appreciation of her not-so-bad-looking tummy”.
A work of art. YOLO.
Tongue Tied - GROUPLOVE
Part of the soundtrack of a truly phenomenal weekend.
Definitely a contender… Realizing you left your stove on making cup of tea part two, as you are on the bus headed to work.
